Like everything, meditation takes practice. Our meditations are not about just chilling out. We don't just empty or just observe our mind . Each meditation has a clear focus which is designed to train your mind to change negative thoughts into positive. With gentle determination, concentration and practice, everyone can learn to train their mind.
Like everything, you will have good days and bad days. The main thing is not to take it too seriously and keep it light. If you don't enjoy it, you won't continue. The trick is to enjoy learning about your inner Tiger and all its various methods to make you miserable and stop you from progressing. The best method is just to Tame Your Tiger.
All you need to do to listen to the presentations and meditations on your phone is Text the audio ID to 62600. On Android phone the file will download and on iOS you can live stream to listen. You’ll pay via your mobile. It’s £1.50 per audio plus network extras. Maximum of one reply per message received. Please note - this is not a subscription service. It's one charge per audio.
We hope that simply by recognising that when you change your thoughts, you can change your experience - your life will dramatically improve. The best way of seeing progress is if you are more accepting, peaceful and productive in your life.
We all often feel that we don't have enough time. Time is based on perception - if you relax, it stretches. You can listen to the presentations while you are driving, doing jobs, travelling.... If you can wake up 10 minutes earlier to meditate - you can start your day from a great place. Or meditate for 10 minutes in the park/car/train -anywhere quiet. Maybe in your lunchtime. This will help you to be more focussed, peaceful and productive and so will end up saving you time in the long run.
We will be introducing a Tame Your Tiger community to find meditation friends, mentors and a forum. If you tell us what you are struggling with and we can hopefully help by developing a presentation and meditation bespoke to you.
Yes - we have many different types and levels of meditation. We have ones that are designed to help people recover from a crisis. We also have advanced meditations to help people to achieve higher and higher levels of focus and happiness.
